Update April 2026: Steps to Freedom can be purchased as an ebook at Better World Books and at ebooks.com. At ebooks.com it says there is a ‘read aloud’ version available. The original publisher (Liberties Press, Ireland) went bankrupt, so the paperback version can no longer be purchased from Amazon or other book retailers. It was Liberties Press who let me know that Don was going to be providing a free audio version. This is yet more evidence that Don truly cares for victims of domestic abuse. [end of update]

That’s so generous and honorable of Don Hennessey to do that. It really speaks volumes. The abused are most often the ones without money and for Don Hennessey to be sensitive to that reality is outstanding. What a stand-up guy. :)

I am looking forward to the possibility of listening to the audio version of Steps to Freedom, though by nature I am not one to listen to audio books.
Don Hennessy’s generosity does, as Anonymous commented, speak volumes. I’m not certain if Anonymous intended the pun, but I did. :-)

In the last 2 weeks, I have read both of his books. How refreshingly healing to read evidence that the target is not to blame. At all. I look forward to this video! [Audio book] Thank you for giving us the heads up!
