Risk Assessment— The MOSAIC method

Risk assessment is a vital ingredient in safety planning with abuse victims.
The MOSAIC Threat Assessment method is an online risk / threat assessment method developed by Gavin de Becker who wrote the excellent book The Gift Of Fear [*Affiliate link], MOSAIC helps the assessor weigh a situation, for example, a situation where an abuse victim is in the throes of separating from an abuser, in light of expert opinion and research, and instantly compares the situation to past cases where the outcomes are known,
