Info Post – Martyn Lloyd-Jones’ Sermons Available Online for FREE!
UPDATE Sept 2021: I have come to believe that Jeff Crippen does not practise what he preaches. He vilely persecuted an abuse victim and spiritually abused many other people in the Tillamook congregation. Go here to read the evidence. Jeff has not gone to the people that he spiritually and emotionally abused. He has not apologised to them, let alone asked for their forgiveness.

If you are not familiar with the late Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, you need to meet him. I believe he died in 1981. He was a Welshman who preached for many years at Westminster Chapel in London, England. If you genuinely want to know the Epistle to the Romans thoroughly and in a very practical, life-application manner, as well as Ephesians and sound biblical theology and more, then here is good news. His sermons which used to only be available via purchase at the Martyn Lloyd-Jones Trust (I myself spent some $1500 on his tapes in the 1990’s) are now available for download in mp3 for FREE at the MLJ Trust website. And more – if you have an iPhone or iPad, you can go to the apps store, search under MLJ Sermons, and download a free app that will enable you to listen to all these sermons on your phone – freebie.
Now, don’t be one of those superficial persnickety types who listen to him and hear his Welsh accent and say “oh, I just find him strange to listen to.” Don’t do that. He grows on you. Put on your big boy britches and listen to “The Doctor” and you will receive a thorough, sound foundation in the Word of God. Remember, many reasons why evil persists in our churches is due to rank ignorance of the Word of God. We cannot afford to be naive in the things of Christ.

A Cry For Justice 
Oh, THANK YOU for this post! I don’t have any big boy britches, but I do have an iphone that I just purchased, so I shall do my best even without the britches. Thankfully, I happen to enjoy accents from over the pond and even enjoy Welsh ancestry of my own. So again, THANK YOU very much!! Or as they say in Welsh “Diolch yn fawr iawn.” 😀

They haven’t put my picture up or name on a room yet, but it may be coming. This one started with a total loss of vision in my left eye. My doc said to go there because of already having MS and being labeled pre-diabetic. I was told to thank my mother for the pre-diabetic diagnosis, as mine appears to be caused by genetics. It has gone downhill since being in ER. My body is a train wreck and often pray that I could just go home. Apparently, he has a reason for my still being here.
I’ve always appreciated Martyn Lloyd Jones … He is not trying to impress anyone; says it like it is. Although preached many, many years ago, ML Jones admonition proves the ‘timelessness’ of God’s Word as he was battling the same soft doctrines being proclaimed in other pulpits.
I listened to an interview given in 1970,very uplifting!his welsh accent is not very strong,maybe he had been in England for a while! I live about 10miles from the welsh border, unfortunately in the town where Charles Darwin was born! I live about two short streets away! Thank you again Pastor, will be studying more sermons by Dr Lloyd Jones.
Love that man and especially his book, “Spiritual Depression”. That book was very instrumental in helping me cope with the “sinful trial” of abuse. In his chapter “Trials” he says this, “He (The Christian) has something that enables him to rise above these things, but the glory of the Christian life is that you rise above them though you feel them. It is not an absence of feeling.”
We know that all who live godly in Christ, will suffer trials. I want to add this however. I have learned that there is a big difference in trials, as we have spoken of here at ACFJ many, many times. Where there is sin – that trial is not from God. God never sends sin to teach you or sanctify you. Where there is no sin involved, such as an illness or job loss or accident, etc., then it may be God allowing it. He may be using it to sanctify you and teach you something He wants you to know. God will still use the sinful trial – although not from Him – to teach you and of course turn it for your best, but just know where there is sin, it is not from God.
