Church discipline…abuse…divorce.

I have reworked my post Church discipline and church permission for divorce – how my mind has changed to make it easier to read.

I published that post in 2013.

I think (hope) my writing skills have improved since then.

The re-worked version puts the key points at the top of the post, making it more accessible to readers who are pressed for time.

I hope survivors of abuse who are stressed to the gills with trying to escape from the persecution of abusers and their allies will find my re-worked version easier to read and digest.

Read the re-worked version here.

  1. Thank you SO much, Barb, for writing this Church discipline….abuse….divorce. post to inform readers you had re-worked the Church discipline and church permission for divorce – how my mind has changed post.

I (re)read (more than once!!) through the Church discipline and church permission for divorce – how my mind has changed post.

I am commenting on THIS post because my comment has absolutely NOTHING to do with marriage, but EVERYTHING to do with REALLY bad “counselling” / “therapy” / “teaching”.

I am omitting ALL the unnecessary (to this comment) details and condensing my words down to this sentence: I have re-written (so to speak) some REALLY (!!) bad “counselling” / “therapy” / “teaching” propagated by BOTH the secular AND the non-secular communities.

^That re-writing battle belongs to God, the One who sees (and understands) the pictures in my mind.
