Update on the Book, A Cry for Justice (Availability)
UPDATE Sept 2021: I have come to believe that Jeff Crippen does not practise what he preaches. He vilely persecuted an abuse victim and spiritually abused many other people in the Tillamook congregation. Go here to read the evidence. Jeff has not gone to the people that he spiritually and emotionally abused. He has not apologised to them, let alone asked for their forgiveness.

Calvary Press advises me that Amazon’s “temporarily out of stock” is a common problem with their computer system when book orders come in and their computer automatically does this somehow.
But all you need to do to order the book is to go to the Calvary Press website, calvarypress.com, and put in your order there. He said that cuts out the middle man anyway. So the book is available.
Rats, I thought we had made the NY Times bestseller list. Oh well.
Calvarypress.com
That’s calvarypress.com

Ha! Your little bit about the infomercials made me laugh. Give the NY Times bestseller list some TIME. We’ve only just begun! 🙂
But if it’s truly an infomercial, you have to say “But wait! Order in the next 15 minutes and receive 2 books for the price of 1 (just pay processing and handling).” I now realize that I’ve watched way too much middle of the night TV. I’m only slightly obsessed with the Shark Steam Mop infomercial.
JM – You are a real crackup! Actually I thought of adding those lines but restrained myself. If everyone knew how often I DON’T say things, they would be amazed. Memories of the Ginsu knife set!
Hahaha! Love the humor!
I ordered 3 things on that day. The other things came 10/30 and 10/31. Do you think it is a case of “religious intolerance”? Seems they are not doing themselves any good in not getting them out in a timely manner:
“Status: Not yet shipped
Latest Event: Order Received – Oct 26, 2012 7:57:39 AM
Description: We’ve received your order, but we haven’t started preparing it for shipment yet. The amount of time your order spends in this status can vary based on the availability of the item(s) and the selected delivery.”
Pippa – That is Amazon apparently. They are also putting notices on lots of items that hurricane Sandy is affecting shipping. But as I said in the post, you can go directly to calvarypress.com and order the book there. I don’t know what their turnaround time is but now Amazon has “usually ships in 5-8 weeks.” No way would Calvary Press take anywhere near that long. The publisher told me that this sort of thing is rather typical of Amazon.
