Yesterday we signed a publishing contract with Calvary Press in Greenville, South Carolina. The owner has the manuscript and is excited about the project. We are very grateful to Calvary Press because finding a publisher is not easy nor is it even possible sometimes. All of us, I am sure, are thankful that Calvary Press has agreed to take this step and take on two never-published authors. We ask all of you to be praying for this process and that the Lord would truly bless it. Not for our sake, but for the sake of all of the victims of abuse and for the good of Christ’s church. We believe that if the Lord so chooses and grants that the book have wide circulation in the church, there will be some very positive changes take place. Please pray that the heat will be turned up on abusers who are masquerading as Christians and working their evil deception among the flock of Christ.
We also pray that the book might be used to give even greater exposure to other authors such as Barbara Roberts, whose book Not Under Bondage [Affiliate link] really a pioneering work in this field. How many of us (like myself) were totally oblivious to the trials that she went through that led up to her three year process of writing that book? And there are other bloggers and authors too that we pray will be given a wider hearing. Others of you have some book ideas to expose abuse and help victims. Go for it! And if some of you would like to contribute a guest article to this blog site, please send it to us and, once we determine that you aren’t a disguised abuser or such, we will post it.
Timeline for the actually printing and release of A Cry for Justice? [Affiliate link] I don’t know yet. But this was a big step forward and we are very grateful.

UPDATE Sept 2021: I have come to believe that Jeff Crippen does not practise what he preaches. He vilely persecuted an abuse victim and spiritually abused many other people in the Tillamook congregation. Go here to read the evidence. Jeff has not gone to the people that he spiritually and emotionally abused. He has not apologised to them, let alone asked for their forgiveness.
Congratulations! I want to say that I am learning SO much from your blog.
Thank you Belle, very, very much. And we are especially grateful that you are learning. We are too. Isn’t this a great forum for learning and meeting like-minded people who are going through the same trials? I have learned that if you want to truly learn about abuse, talk to the victims of it. I hope you continue to visit us and learn along with us. We certainly don’t know everything yet – keep an eye out in our articles in case we write something stupid! That’s easier for me (Jeff) to do than I would like to think! Great to have you here.
Congratulations Jeff and Anna on your book being on its way to being published and circulated. I’ve been praying for this day, and am so glad that it will be used by the Lord to further help victims of abuse. As far as exposing the abuser, I might add that some of these people might hide or burn your book, so maybe the churches should buy duplicate copies…;)
I had bought Barbara Robert’s book about 5 months ago and found it so valuable in validating my decisions to leave and ultimately divorce one day. I also pray for further success in both books. What a blessing, and it’s also refreshing, to have Christian authors with true knowledge, wisdom and compassion (also passion), to write these books.
Thank you very much, Now Free! Haha, yes, there will be some folks who don’t like this book at all! Not only abusers, but our stance on divorce being permissible for abuse and our naming of leading teachers/pastors who insist that abuse victims are not allowed to divorce, is going to upset some folks. It’s a radical paradigm shift in thinking for many. But we pray that even some of those who initially launch some fireworks might be brought to understanding.
That’s fantastic news! Congratulations, Jeff and Anna!
Thank you. May God be glorified, the church be strengthened and the abused be blessed.
Congratulations Jeff and Anna!
I can’t wait to read your book. You do a great work here. So happy to be in touch with a Pastor who understands the dynamics of abuse. God bless you.
Terry
Thanks very much, Terry. We are excited too. Blessings on you.
Hallelujah!! So happy for you in achieving this accomplishment!
Really looking forward to the book and sharing it with all of the women I’ve come in contact with who are, like myself, choosing FREEDOM over the bondage of abuse!
Congrats!
Thank you for the enthusiastic support! Yes, let’s spread this book far and wide – not for sales’ sake, but for the victims, and for the glory of Christ and the reformation of His church.
